What to Expect and Next Steps

Psychological testing at Freelife Behavioral Health starts with a free 15 minute consultation to make sure you feel comfortable working with our team. Next you or your child will meet with our experienced assessment provider to get a full history of symptoms, significant life events, stressors, medical factors, and more to ensure we understand the whole person beyond just a set of test results. Next, you or your child will complete a series of game-like assessments to measure attention, concentration, cognitive status, and other aspects of psychological functioning. This is usually conducted over 2 three-hour days to ensure the most accurate results. Afterward, your assessment professional will sit down with you to patiently go over the results and answer all of your questions carefully. Once your assessment report is completed, you will meet with your assessment professional to discuss the results and then a variety of treatment options and referrals will be discussed. These may include referrals to therapists, executive coaches, medication specialists, academic/work accomodations and more.
